An excercise in quick, seamless navigation and custom graphics. This was created in the vein of other Mac shareware games, including "screenshots" and enticing copy. Uses JQuery for simple DHTML effects.
Photography gallery example. The task was to create a light gallery that loads quickly and allows the photographer to display pictures in an unobtrusive manner. Uses JQuery for simple DHTML effects.
Commissioned site design for a Toronto violinist. Responsible for design as well as all code and image creation, aside from the photographs in the gallery and on the about page (although I modified them). The intent was to look old-fashioned, chalk-on-slate. The News page uses Blogger as its backend with a custom template. The client has no HTML experience and wanted an easy way to post new news items.
Site for the Toronto-based chamber music group. Responsible for custom graphic work (splash pages), some photography (a handful of publicity photos for the main splash page), and a complete recoding of the HTML / CSS for the entire site from a broken, incomplete Frontpage layout. The gallery, while not dynamic, is generated by a Python script. It allows for a quick addition of new images and entirely new pages while not requiring a server-side database.
Site for a Toronto-based classical music trio. Responsible for everything from concept to completion, minus the photos the client provided. The footer and header images were modeled and rendered for this project. PHP was used to make the simple contact page.
I was tasked to do four Flash inserts for pages on the Kalev Training website.
The About Page and Testimonials Page fade-swap between different 'pages'. The QAFC Leaderboard is dynamic and pulls the latest names from an external file. I also created the Flash Gallery. All effects were done through ActionScript. Graphics were provided by the client.
